Course Instructor

Kayla Sweet

Kayla M. Sweet is a Course Instructor and Individual Consultant at FLTC. In addition, Kayla works as a Team Leader in Community Mental Health. Kayla has completed academic and professional leadership training and served as a mentor/trainer in leadership development programs. Kayla's BA is in Psychology, and her MA is in Consciousness and Transformative Studies. Kayla specializes in Transformational Leadership and Consciousness and Healing. Kayla received the 2018 Library Prize for Undergraduate Research for her paper entitled Potential of Mindfulness and Art Therapy for Emergency First Responders. Kayla was also the recipient of the 2017/2018 James R. Haines Award for Research in Psychology. Kayla's MA thesis explores Internally Guided Leadership and is a theoretical synthesis of leadership and psychological theories with applications in the field of leadership.
